General knowledge on academic/business collaboration is highly recommended (though you are still welcome if you are just curious!)

Overview
The event aims to foster existing and new relationships between academics and industry.
There will be focus round tables on: digital technologies, smart materials, wearable technologies, space and sensors, energy.
We will receive external guest from industry; and offer a networking reception.

Learning Objectives

What can academics do when industry asks to answer a R&D challenge to innovate?
What are the schemes available?
Who can support you to set up a collaboration?
What are the possibilities for OU to help (local) business grow?
…and you can meet your future partner during the event!
