Understanding your data: from collection to effective analytics
12th June 2018 at 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
CityLABS is proud to present the first Data Workshop, which will be led by The Open University team. The workshop is targeted at SMEs and will showcase solutions for business data analytics.
The workshop is open to any SME that has an interest in developing a better understanding of data-driven applications and services.
A full day set of activities will be organised around different aspects of the development process (design, visualisation, data processing and privacy issues) and will include both presentations and practical sessions with real-world examples.
The CityLABS Technical Support Team will demonstrate how to develop data-powered applications and services building on cutting-edge data analytics techniques involving streaming, open, and big data.
The workshop will include both lectures and hands-on sessions, exposing the participants to a number of different approaches and allowing them to reflect on how these can be applied to their specific use cases.
